Too Faced Summer Eyes Limited Collection

Hello there! 

I know Summer is basically over (guess I haven't gotten over it yet lol). But I just wanna share with you this VERY PRETTY eyeshadow palette that my bf got for me last summer. I've been eyeing on this for along time, unfortunately they were sold out before I plan on buying it. 

This palette has a nice tin packaging with mirror on top. Completely different from their last years limited collection. Really pretty inside and out. The colors are gorgeous! My fave is the Coral Crush, an absolute dream. All my other fave colors are in one amazing palette. (I wish I could've swatched it for you but my camera won't focus well. ) 

From left to right:

Day : Seashell (entire eyelid) - Plumeria (eyelid) - Cocoa Beach (crease)

Classic : Peach Fuzz (entire eyelid) - Coral Crush (eyelid) - Chocolate Sun (crease)

Fashion : Sunbeam (entire eyelid) - Mermaid (eyelid) - Toasted Coconut (crease)

It came with a how-to-get the look tutorial but you can also play with the colors. There's a look for Day, Classic, and Fashion. I've been mix and matching them, and it's so fun! 

They stayed on very well (but I would recommend using their Too Face Shadow Insurance to avoid smudging, plus it enhances the colors too). You wouldn't need a makeup brush to apply them, just use your finger tips or small crease brush and you're good to go!

Too Faced really make the best eyeshadow palette in the market, no doubt. If there's another palette I needed to look at, I would go with them first. 

I'm pretty sure they'll gonna make another LIMITED collection for the seasons so keep an eye on them!

Make Up Forever

Aqualiner in 13 $23

This gorgeous dark liquid liner is a dream come true lol. I ran out so I had to repurchase it again. Everytime I would feel like having a cat-eyed look, this did a great job. I have tried different liquid liners but nothing really impressed me the way they claim to be. Doesn't smudge at all, and stays on for HOURS.  Its precision brush tip makes it easier for the liner to glide on without any mistake. You can gradually thicken the line or whatever suits your mood. :) Highly recommended!

Aquaeyes in 0L $18

Again, MUFE is the type of brand that I always look up to whenever I would need a "waterproof eyeliner, that DOESN'T SMUDGE AT ALL"- this is the one. I repurchased a new color (black) when I feel like I needed to soften the line. (Ofcourse you can't soften a liquid eyeliner duh).  They say you can use this even when you swim! It won't come off. And now, I am sooooo excited for summer! =D

Sexy MotherPucker Extreme- Plump XL  $22

By the way it sounds, I would definitely buy it! Not that it will make yours look like a Nicki Minaj lips, but it visibly make it appear 'larger' because of its shimmery-tingly effect which is normal. It claims to have collagen boosting properties that make your lips 'swell' in minutes. It smells and tastes like vanilla too!

Highlighter is a must whenever I would feel like total make over. It brings out your best facial features. This is great for highlighting your brow bone, bridge of your nose, cupid's bow, and cheeks. One part is matte, and the one is shimmer. The color blends in nicely. I love love this one now.

Dual Brow Brush $18

I was in need of a new brow brush. This is so small making it easy to brush and comb brow hairs.

MAC mini haul

I'm back with MAC! I just thought that's a cute one lol. Having been missing buying MACs recently (and because I also ran out of their perfume), I just decided that I needed to buy few ones again as I don't go to MAC or Sephora more recently. *babyface

MAC Turquatic Perfume

Their perfume is what I am addicted for. *sniffstheperfumeagain. My favorite smell of all time. It has a summery aquatic smell (I know I suck in describing smell). But I do love it. It's not overly powerful, but good enough for people to smell me from miles away *sarcasm*

MAC Technakhol eyeliner in Graphblack

Mac Technakohl eyeliner 0.35g $15

I'm back in using technakohl eyeliners for my asian eyes. I know it's hard for some asians to wear khol eyeliners (most specially darker ones) because expect it or not, you'll be a racoon in few hours. That's what I hate. So I usually make it as gradually darker and deeper (with use of eyeshadow base), not to blame having that silly eyes anymore. I like that I can retract the eyeliner rather than sharpening it as often as needed (I hate that). 

MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base

Mac Pre+Prime skinbase 30ml $29

Made my foundation application so smooth and easy to glide on. It has some tiny tiny silicone glitters in it that made my skin look flawless in camera (eventhough I have a lot blemishes, but that is makeup ofcourse). It also made my makeup stay longer than usual. I love love this! =)

NARS Sheer Matte Foundation, Primer, Laguna Bronzer

NARS has definitely been one of my favorite and most trusted makeup brand of all. They live up to what they claim to be. Their products never fail to amaze me - the quality, superb; packaging, simple but very elegant matte feel; pricey, but fairly reasonable sometimes.

So I took a little hop on Nordstorm couple of weeks ago to, basically, buy something that I didn't ended up with. Instead, I found myself sitting on NARS section because this friendly sales lady was too kind to eventually give me a free makeup trial out to test their new makeup collection - Fall 2012 Color Collection. Although not included in the new collection, I fell inlove with the sheer matte foundation (which I was eyeing for so long but I really didn't want to buy it but oh well, #sales talk).

NARS Sheer Matte Foundation $42

I love it but..

Looks so flawless!

I like that it feels so feathery lightweight. Like I don't even wear a heavy foundation

Coverage is buildable

Color did matched me perfectly (I'm in Deauville)

-Cons-

Didn't lasted me the whole day

When I started getting oily on the side of my nose, small patches are visible (not good =/)

Took me a while to get the foundation out the glassy bottle

My new baby bronzer =). After a year, I finally decided to get it and I didn't regretted it!

Love that it stays so long lasting (more than 12 hours!)

Doesn't look fake

Made my skin look bronzed -kissed glow

The package is huge!

Like any high end makeup brands, they also launched their new skin care range that I wasn't aware about. They provide serums, cleansers, moisturizers, and everything along those lines. Plus, contrary to their elegant black packaging, their skin care ones are white lol (which I found cute). I only asked a sample of the skin lightening cream (for my dark spots), which after using it on my whole face for a day, holy guacamo* it made my skin bright! lol #literally.
